Mike Bassett

Family Cattle Manager/Laborer - Bassett Farms LTD

39yo commercial cow/calf producer with about 300 head on two farms plus 300 head feeder finish on feedlot 5 years ago I was having trouble with my traditional rotation and after my grandfather suggested cutting the paddocks in 1/4 I decided to look into Adaptive Grazing and developing a daily move system This wasn't what my grandfather imagined and have had many an argument over my management style Not much of a typer but definitely a talker and believe I may have a good experience to share from fighting family to teaching myself years before I found podcasts and social media
