Jessica Newman

Owner - SouthView Station
I’m 38 years old and a first generation farmer and registered nurse in Northeast Pennsylvania. I still work full time as a nurse while building the farming business (SouthView Station -named like sheep operations do in Australia). I raise registered Texel sheep, market lambs and a small amount of beef from my Dexter/mixed beef herd on 40 acres owned/40 acres “leased”. I’m focused on grass management, business profitability (not there yet) and life balance/sustainability.
